Tick Tock Till Bedtime

Balancing Work and Family Through Storytelling

To help children and parents talk about work-life balance, we developed an animated bedtime storybook for Indeed’s campaign with Tin Man Communications. Designed to be fun and thought-provoking, the animation supports families in starting conversations about time together, inspired by research showing many parents miss bedtime due to long working hours.

Bringing Bedtime Stories to Life

Working with author Giles Paley-Phillips, we transformed a beautifully illustrated bedtime story into an engaging picture book-style animation. With a hand-printed look, soft backgrounds, and playful exaggeration, the animation mirrors traditional storytelling. A custom soundscape and voice-over by award-winning actress Bhavnisha Parmar add warmth and humour, encouraging meaningful conversations between children and parents about work-life balance.

Sparking National Conversation

The Tick Tock Till Bedtime campaign gained widespread attention across national TV, radio, and press. By using animated storytelling to highlight the challenges of modern parenting, the campaign successfully sparked public conversation and debate around the importance of work-life balance for families across the UK.
