House of Lords: Communications & Public Engagement
We have worked with The House of Lords for more than 5 years to develop an effective communications content strategy that shares the important work that takes place in the chamber. We also communicate its role in our democracy and their impact across all areas of life. For example; the improvement of legislation or the championing of rights for child refugees.
As well as creating shorter form social content we also work on longer explainer videos that provide the general public with an understanding of how the House of Lords works and what activities it has undertaken. These videos combine the use of illustration to explain complex subjects and footage to provide primary source evidence.
The benefit of building a long term relationship with a client is that you can evolve your style and approach by testing engagement with target audiences so that you know what works and why.
The illustration style for the House of Lords is editorial and clean. We use negative space to help focus attention on the key messages which utilise illustrated iconography that is sophisticated and easy to understand
