Anti-Racism

Challenging Structural Racism

We partnered with Hackney Council with to create an educational anti-racism animation that addresses the realities of systemic racism and the need for active, ongoing change. Rooted in lived experiences and structural analysis, the animation highlights how racism is embedded in society, both visible and invisible, and intentional and unintentional. The animation supports Hackney Council’s commitment to fostering equality and building a fairer society for all racial and ethnic communities.

Bringing the Animation to Life

To bring this message to life, we created a clear, accessible animation using powerful metaphors, like the moving walkway, to explain structural racism and the urgency of anti-racist action. We crafted the visual narrative to emphasise empathy, intersectionality, and collective responsibility. With a strong, educational tone, the animation communicates key anti-racism principles in a way that is both thought-provoking and easy to understand.
