Bereavement in the Workplace

Supporting Grief in the Workplace

Marie Curie commissioned a 2D animation to promote its workplace bereavement support hub. Aimed at raising awareness and encouraging compassionate communication, the animation offers practical guidance for supporting grieving colleagues. The campaign drives traffic to the hub while delivering a hopeful message: small actions and the right words can make a meaningful difference in workplace bereavement support.

Turning Awareness into Action

We produced a 2D animated video offering clear, compassionate advice on supporting grieving colleagues. The animation highlights the serious impact of bereavement in the workplace while encouraging empathy and understanding. With a hopeful tone, it reminds viewers that meaningful change is possible and that small, supportive actions can make a lasting difference in someone’s grief journey.

A woman sitting at a desk looking at a laptop, offering support with a message bubble that says “I’m here if you want to chat.”
A man sitting alone at a kitchen table, looking sad while holding a phone, with unwashed dishes and a wilting plant nearby.
Two men walking in the rain, one holding a large yellow umbrella over both of them as they talk.
Two colleagues sitting on a sofa, one offering comfort with a hot drink and the words “I’m sorry to hear about your mum.”
