Raising Global Awareness Through Visual Storytelling

BirdLife International, a global partnership of conservation organisations, aimed to raise awareness of the threats facing bird populations worldwide. To support this mission, they commissioned an emotive explainer animation to educate viewers on the human impact on birds’ habitats and ecosystems.

The animation also highlighted BirdLife’s conservation work since 1922 and was crafted to engage a broad audience. It premiered at an international exposition and continues to be used across digital platforms to maximise reach and environmental awareness.

Bringing Conservation to Life Through Animation

We created a layered animation combining 2D and frame-by-frame techniques to portray lifelike birds and habitats. Dynamic camera movement, lighting, and textures added depth and focus. Narrated by Emmy award-winner Jane Alexander, the film delivered emotional impact and authority. The final animation resonated strongly with audiences, helping raise global awareness of BirdLife’s mission to protect birds and their ecosystems.
