Lords Committee Series

Committee work and public impact

We partnered with the House of Lords to create a series of short films that explain the vital work of Lords committees. Designed to improve public understanding and engagement, the films use a mix of motion design, 2D animation, and photographic assets provided by Parliament. The series includes an animated explainer on how committees operate, alongside issue-specific content covering topics like artificial intelligence, climate change, and the UK’s growing space sector.

Purpose Driven Content

These films are part of a wider campaign encouraging the public, academics, and industry professionals to take part in shaping UK policy by contributing to House of Lords committee inquiries. Each video needed to be engaging and informative while also inspiring action. By combining animation with imagery, motion graphics, and clear visual storytelling, we helped make complex topics accessible and relevant to a broad audience.

Optimised for Social

To maximise reach and accessibility, we produced alternative versions of each film, including short-form edits and portrait versions tailored to different social platforms. This approach ensured that the content could be used effectively across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Parliament’s own digital channels. By adapting the animation and motion design for various formats, we helped extend the impact of the campaign and made the committee content more discoverable and shareable across diverse audiences.
