Mental Wellbeing

A Vision of Hope and Inclusion

St Andrew’s Healthcare approached us to support their vision of a society where every person living with complex mental health needs is heard, valued and given hope for the future.

By 2028, their aim is to become a recognised leader in mental health, support locally, nationally and internationally transforming lives through compassionate care, innovative thinking and inclusive services.

A Visual Metaphor for Healing and Hope

We drew inspiration from Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold to shape the visual concept for St Andrew’s Healthcare. Rather than hiding cracks, Kintsugi celebrates them as part of an object’s story.

This felt like the perfect metaphor for recovery. It captured the strength, dignity and hope that St Andrew’s brings to people living with complex mental health needs. Their care does not erase the past, but helps individuals build a brighter future from it.
