We partnered with SGS to create an animated film showcasing the power of Illumina’s NextSeq 2000 sequencing platform. Built for biodiversity research and insect analysis, the system gives scientists deeper insights to help protect ecosystems and support global crop health. Our animation brings this to life—translating complex science into a clear, human-centred story. With thoughtful design, confident motion and a sharp narrative, we positioned the NextSeq 2000 as more than a machine: it’s a trusted partner in discovery. A creative collaboration with SGS, designed to highlight innovation through compelling storytelling.

Bringing Science to Life in Lisbon

We planned and delivered a multi-camera film shoot in Lisbon for SGS to showcase the benefits of Illumina’s NextSeq 2000 sequencing platform. The shoot combined head-to-camera interviews with dynamic B-roll footage of the lab and team in action—capturing both the human and technical sides of the story. Using two cine cameras, we wove together multiple perspectives to create a rich, layered edit. The result is a film that highlights the software’s role in biodiversity research and brings SGS’s work to life with clarity, credibility and a cinematic edge.
