The Biodiversity Sensor Project
Biodiversity is declining at a fast rate, which has a negative impact on agriculture and farming practices. Syngenta Group collects data to better understand species and how to protect them.
Syngenta Group recognised a gap in technology for reliably gathering continuous biodiversity data, so they launched the Biodiversity Sensor Project, a system created to collect biodiversity data at a low cost, 24/7 automatically.
Syngenta Group came to us to produce an energetic film to deliver the Biodiversity Sensor Project, showing how the sensor works and how it will help to make a difference in capturing biodiversity data.
We used a combination of 3D animation of the sensor, curated stock footage and green screen footage of butterflies to give the film a 3D effect.
