UK Longitudinal Linkage Collaboration

Longitudinal Studies Explainer Animation

Challenge

UK Longitudinal Linkage Collaboration (UKLLC) is a new collaboration between UK studies and research volunteers, linking their data with Covid-19 data from the NHS to improve and save lives.

UKLLC have created a national research resource and wanted us to help people to understand how the collaboration works and to answer frequently asked questions.

Solution

We created a detailed, informative animation for UKLLC to show how their data is collected and used, as well as highlighting the value created by the collaboration.

The animation answers questions that people may have about the UKLLC such as “How will the data be used?”. The animation also shows how the data is carefully distributed only to approved researches that aim to benefit the public.
