Spectrum: Sharing Public Health Policies to Reduce Inequalities and Harm

Challenge

Spectrum is a research consortium held by the Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh’s Medical school. Spectrum researches and collects evidence to prevent diseases caused by unhealthy goods, including tobacco, alcohol and unhealthy food. Usher Institute came to us to produce an animation explaining how their research works and to raise awareness for the effects of unhealthy activities and products on public health and inequality within communities.

Solution

We produced a characterful animation to communicate the Usher Institute’s message. Each scene has been designed with its own concept to help illustrate the information conveyed in the voice-over. We hope this animation successfully raises awareness of the harmful effects of alcohol, tobacco and unhealthy foods.
