An Upbeat Introduction for a Conference Video

Challenge

To produce an upbeat introductory video for a conference and key launch event at CES.

The film was used at conference and then repurposed for a stand at CES in Las Vegas where the visuals played to draw attention to the stand.

Solution

We created a conference video that would be impactful in person but could also work well for a virtual conference, virtual exhibition or as a standalone video for social media.

The video itself is built around a custom designed soundtrack at 130 beats per minute. The footage and motion graphics are all timed exactly to the soundtrack to provide a dynamic and fluid feel.

We worked with Hitachi Consulting’ Consumer Industry to produce an animation that would explain to VPs and CEOs the value of their Predictive Improvement model.

Predictive Improvement is about helping companies anticipating tomorrow, being proactive and developing new capabilities to be able to respond quickly to the market and stay ahead of the curve.

Our task was to communicate this very complex topic within a medium length animation.

Encouraging Fundraising and Support

Challenge

The Family Holiday Association is the only national charity in the UK dedicated to providing short breaks for families struggling with some of the toughest challenges life can bring.

Our role was to create an animation that showcased the impact of the work the charity does each day and to elicit empathy with their existing supporter base to enable stronger engagement with the charity and its fundraising goals.

A secondary goal was to create heightened awareness of The Family Holiday Association to new audiences.

Solution

In order to create empathy between the audience and the subject matter we based the animation on the framework of a holiday picture album. This enabled the imagery to have a casual and playful style that then powerfully contrasted with more troubling imagers to represent some of the challenges that the families face.

The animation of images on the page was carried through the final frames of the animation when the narrator was revealed as a filmed character to end on a note of individual human connection.

To create strong and engaging branding for the launch of a new energy drink, Bulldog Power. To supplement this branding work with the creation of a series of content to grow and engage an audience of early adopters.

Solution

We created a comic book concept to allow us to bring the character of the brand to life. Through the use of animation, interactive tools and games Bulldog and his eponymous energy drink created a fun and engaging brand experience.

Impact

The campaign has only recently launched (late 2017) but has already been recognised with the Drink Brand of the year award for 2017.

Tower Hamlets Homes approaches us to help them make a series of animations to educate their social housing tenants on fire safety and the actions to take in the event of a fire in their flat or building.

Solution

The animations needed to be visually simple with clear instructions. They also needed to be understood without the explanation of a voiceover to ensure that they were effective across a wide variety of languages. In order to achieve this we used a striking colour scheme combined with simple icons and instructive motion.
